Quick Fire Questions
-
I started playing golf at 12. It’s late compared to most players. I played soccer and squash before golf and through the first few years of learning the game.
-
Always going to say my home club The Pines Golf Club…! Otherwise Muriwai Golf Club is a pretty special place to play, everyday can be different. My favourite course internationally would have to be Muirfield Golf Course in Scotland.
-
I’m not sure if I would or not, they are very similar sports. I like to watch the shorter formats of cricket so yes, there would be a possibility I would play cricket.
-
I spend time in the Gym 3 times a week, a lot of stretching and mobility. I use mindfulness, meditation and gratitude tools for my mental performance on and off the course.
-
Fishing, I come from a big fishing family.
-
Chicken and Haloumi Salad

My favourite golfing memory would have to be lifting the National Interprovincial Trophy with the Northland Golf team in 2018. It was the first time Northland had won it in the 68-year history of the event. It was also a massive part of my comeback after my shoulder injury earlier that year.
-
Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Seve Ballesteros

When I’m at home for a training/practice week, I’d do 25 hours plus playing a couple rounds too. I believe balance is key to perform consistently overseas.
-
My favourite thing about the ZS would have to be that I can fit all my golf equipment for a day of training in the boot.
